I started my advertising career off in the political arena helping politicians get elected. In 2004, I met Blockboard's fearless leader Matt Wasserlauf at the SXSW Conference in Austin, Texas and my digital media career was off and running at Broadband Enterprises (BBE). From there I worked at a number of different media and data companies including; Demand Media, Torrential, Videology, CoStar and now Blockboard. I have always been a firm believer in Matt Wasserlauf's vision and I knew that Blockboard was his biggest achievement yet. When he and I spoke about the challenges the market faces with the bot and fraud problem and how he has found a solution for it with the blockchain, I immediately jumped at the opportunity to join the team at Blockboard.
I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and I have covered the Midwest for almost 20 years. In 2004, I wrote the first online video upfront deal with AT&T placed by GSD&M and I have enjoyed being in the digital video space for most of my professional career. My golden retriever Sam and I are outdoor enthusiasts and I enjoy golf, skiing and everything Austin has to offer.
